Process mandated by EU Commission Regulation 92-2005, Article 2, Annex 5 [Implemented by Animal By-Products Regulation 1774-2002]
2011-present
EU Regulation 1774 was replaced by 1069-2009 which, in turn, is implemented by Regulation 142-2011. The Gasification Process remains in the current legislation and is prescribed in Annex 4, Chapter 4, Sect. 2E of Regulation 142-2011 as an approved process
2012-Present
AGS Energy undertake technology development project to generate a continuous feed process for the gasifier to make it suitable for sustainable renewable energy generation.
2014-2018
Site trials in UK & Ireland at numerous sites generating 1000s of operating hours and emissions test data across a wide range of organic and waste materials
2016
Republic of Ireland Sept. for Agriculture, Food and Marine granted Licensing for Cat. 3 hazardous material disposal
2017-2018
Manufacturing validation project conducted in partnership with Collins Aerospace (US manufacturing business).
Jan 2019
Collins Aerospace technology validation / sign-off for manufacture of integrated containerised 6 auger waste to energy system
